This interplay between concealment and revelation enhances the visual experience, fostering dialogue with the viewer. Treasure Map - Embracing Change
The year 2020 transformed my approach to painting. In my 'before' works, I conveyed tranquility through earthy tones and fluid paint flows. However, in my new series, I embraced bold shapes in vibrant colors while maintaining harmony and balance. These colors infused me with renewed energy, and my studio became a sanctuary amidst reality. My painting journey shifted from integration to isolation, tranquility to chaos, and earthy to bold colors. I allowed sharp edges between shapes, reflecting my emotions during the early days of sheltering in place. Amidst tension, happiness persisted as I found gratitude in my family's safety and our ability to work and study from home together.
