My work employs marks that serve a dual purpose: guiding the viewer into and out of the painting while simultaneously inviting exploration of the layers, both concealed beneath the surface and revealed. This interplay between concealment and revelation adds depth to the visual experience, fostering a dialogue with the viewer. Through this approach, I aim to create art that not only captivates aesthetically but also engages the audience in a thoughtful exploration of space, form, and meaning.
Flare and Space

Playful interpretation of the childhood game, Tic Tac Toe. Every stage in life is an adaptation. Its good to remember, from time to time, what is important. If I can still create, even with so many constraints, I can adapt.
MORE ABOUT THE TECHNIQUE:
I built the texture with spackle, paper and cardboard. Then, I keep adding layers of colors until I see the right composition. I use a lot of water with pigment. The water can reach all the small cracks to enhance the texture and the colors underneath.
