Pick a Color

I am pleased to have work included in Pick a Color, an all-media exhibition at the Kavanagh Gallery of Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles, Illinois, exploring the full spectrum of color: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet.

My work Fragments of Color draws on the iconography of the American flag, its colors separated to reflect a fractured society. Not a symbol of unity, but a question: what holds us together, and what pulls us apart? Sheer fabric, folded in waves and layered with paint, charcoal, and pastel — fragile and resilient, like the social fabric itself.
