About the Artist
For the past 15 years I was engaged
in the roller coaster of the high tech industry as a Hardware
design engineer. At the end of 2004 I decided to take some
time off and rediscovered my artistic side. I got exposed and experienced in variety of arts like Painting, Collage, Paper-Mache, Polymer-Clay, Mosaic and faithful to my engineering background, computer digital design. I got addicted
to working with polymer clay. With polymer clay and simple
home tools I create wonderful, colorful designs. I take my
inspiration from things I see all around, each piece is unique
and one of a kind.
All my work is based on polymer clay. I combine it with
wood, glass, metal, fabric and paint. I create beads and
make jewelry from them. Other products are home
décor items like pictures, decorative plates, boxes, anything colorful
to the home.
I’m a creative person, I like working with my hands. I enjoy crafts as
a hobby and have gotten pretty good at what I do. Many of my friends and relatives
proudly display the craft items I have given them for birthdays and other occasions.
Why me and why do I have this web site
It all stared from my need to diversify my life and spend
more time with my family. I took my passion for craft to
the next level and got recognition as an artisan.
I started a home business to be my own boss where I can have time and place
to create and have a way to sell my pieces. I see craftsmanship as a lifelong
learning experience.
With my experience as a Senior Design Engineer I’m bringing with me the
ability to lead projects. Like in any project there is the need to set-up requirements,
break work into tasks and be creative with solutions. I feel that my experience
give me an advantage dealing with the managerial tasks of the art work.
